Plans for 2008 - and CAKE RECIPE!
For the first three years, we set the registration fee just high enough to cover advertising and ride expenses. However, many of you felt that the Museum of Charlotte County, as a ride sponsor, should benefit from the event. So for 2008, we have increased the registration fee. This will allow us to use the event as a fund-raiser for the Museum and (well, it seemed appropriate) for Charlotte County Meals on Wheels!
The food-- we want to keep the things you especially liked. And of course, keep it healthy! OK, maybe not healthy, but by popular request: we have below the Recipe for "Candy Bar Cake" !

 Candy Bar Cake

Beverly Kunath made the cake; she says the recipe is from Nancy Adams

Prepare cake mix according to directions on the box. Pour batter into 3 greased and floured 8" round cake pans.
Bake at 325 degrees 20 - 25 minutes, until done.
Cool about 10 minutes and then remove from pans.
Cool completely before frosting.

Beat softened cream cheese and both sugars with electric mixer until smooth.
Chop 8 candy bars finely.
